Act like a PRO at any age

Everything is relative, depending on your situation. What you value in life is not the same for everyone else. It goes the same way with poker. When your friends tell you poker stories they usually leave out some of the minor details. The fish story. The pot just keeps getting bigger. The fact that they called in first position with a inferior hand doesn't factor into the equation. In fact there is no equation at all. Just a pleasure player looking to get lucky. Everyone looks to get lucky somewhere in their poker playing but how much do you rely on getting lucky? How much do you really play the percentage? It has been my experience that some people are luckier than others and they know it. Some players "hold over" other particular players. Go figure. It's not in the odds. But the odds are not true every hand, just over the long run, most times, usually, unless of course, you die first, then people will just say that you were an unlucky player. People are different all over the world, just like at the table. If you play cards you will get beat. When you lose please show some class. It gives the whole world (table), warm and fuzzies. It also gives you a favorable reputation and may even to lead into people thinking that you play well. When you have a bad player or a drunk at your table my advice to you is expect anything. Don't play too many hands trying to chase that guy, just wait for the hands that you feel good about IN POSITION. I have double blogged about this because it happens everyday.
