I see this behavior everyday when I am dealing. There are many forms of being bullied for sure. If you are being intimidated or criticized by the same player then he is a bully. There is
only one way to deal with a bully in any situation, which is to get away. If you really don't want to leave your game then report him to the dealer and to the
floorman if necessary. If it is just a very mild form of criticism then just try to ignore him or ask him to not make comments
about your play. If you are still annoyed by this then the players or the dealer should come to your rescue. The worst thing you can do is play into his mind games and explain yourself or show your cards. Do not show this bully your cards. Like all bullies when he is stood up to or ignored he will go away or at least quiet down. If the player doesn't seem like a bully, just a nice guy who is trying to help you then just remember one thing. He is a stranger, not your coach or your teacher or even your friend. Learn what you can before you come to the table and watch and read while you are in the game. Don't show your cards and give out your information. Women and young men have a
tendency to want other people to like them. This is a poker game, make your friends before you get here. I have seen bullies melt and crumble and want to disappear just by a few words like "I'd like to play my own hand, thank you", or something
to that effect. After that ignore him, others will!
