Say Nothing...thank you

How many bad beat stories are really interesting? Don't boar your friends or enemies with these stories especially when you don't even have the facts clear. That is the worst of all. When a fellow player just gets knocked out of a game and wants to give you all the details, it is sometimes like going to the dentist. A hazard of the business. They often leave out crucial details which paints a different picture. I think it is kind of a misery lovers company idea. As new players come by for a chat you may be so lucky as to hear the same bad beat story, told over and over again to 50 other players. This is a rookie thing to do. It is boring to hear sad, bad luck stories, one after another. When you are with your friends next year try to refrain from telling poker stories (especially if there are females with you). If you are at a party of poker degenerates and everyone has a poker story then this is the exception to the rule. Take a number and wait for your turn to tell yours. As my mother used to say, "Honey, if you have nothing nice to say then nothing is what you should say".
