When someone tells you that they would rather gamble than have sex, even though they may laugh, they are most likely telling you the truth. Gambling really does take the place of sex for many people. not just the poor souls who have a hard time finding a mate for sex but also for the beautiful, healthy players, young and older. I have been around gamblers my entire adult life and the attitude of people in or outside of the business is usually the same. Everyone is looking for someone, consciously or not, we all look for something. Gambling, just like sex, is an appetite filler. The hunger that you have is being satisfied by one thing or another. Being compulsive or insatiable is one in the same. The rush of adrenalin pulsing through your body when you are involved with the perfect hand or a huge bluff. That's the hook that keeps the addiction going. According to the A.P. 4-4-08: Money and sex trigger the same brain area. It also states that sexy pictures make a man gamble even more. INTERESTING!

That is interesting, you think they would get sidetracked by the sexiness. But I can't say it's the same for all men, my boyfriend is definately addicted and becoming quite the gambler, but sex is a big one for him too, I just asked him if he'd rather gamble then have sex, and he picked sex, so I guess I'm lucky hehe, lol
